Rescheduling bookings
You can reschedule an appointment by dragging its block to a new slot on the calendar, or by using the Reschedule link within the booking detail view. Either way, Priorly will ask you to confirm the new time before making any changes.
Dragging to reschedule
The quickest way to reschedule is to drag an appointment block to a new slot directly on the calendar. While you're dragging, a Cancel move button appears in the top bar — click it at any point to abort the move without making any changes.
Click and hold any appointment block on the calendar to begin dragging it.
Drag to the new date and time and release. A dashed ghost block marks the destination.
Review the new time in the confirmation modal and click Confirm change to apply.
Confirming the reschedule
Once you drop a booking on its new slot, a confirmation modal appears showing a summary of the change. It lists the patient, the new date, and the new time for each service in the booking. You can also fine-tune the start and end times directly in this modal before confirming.
Click Confirm change to apply the reschedule. The patient is notified of the new time automatically.
Bookings with multiple services
If a booking includes services assigned to more than one staff member, dragging it will prompt Priorly to check whether the linked appointments for other staff should also be moved. You'll be asked whether you want to move all services together or just the one you dragged. All affected times are shown in the confirmation modal before anything is applied.
Rescheduling from the detail view
You can also reschedule individual services from within the booking detail modal. Next to the time on each service row, click the Reschedule link. This lets you set a new date and time for that service specifically, without needing to drag anything on the calendar — useful if the new time is far from the current one and navigating by drag would be cumbersome.
