Related orders

Related Orders helps teams identify prior or potentially linked orders for safer and faster review.

Accessing related orders

Use Find related orders from the patient panel on the order detail page to open match results.

Results are grouped into Customer Orders, Firm Matches, and Fuzzy Matches (when enabled).

Section	What it shows
Customer Orders	Orders linked directly to the same customer account/email.
Firm Matches	High-confidence cross-account matches based on strong overlap signals.
Fuzzy Matches	Lower-confidence possible overlaps that require manual verification.

Match scores increase with stronger overlapping signals such as payment instrument, address, and contact data.

Signal	What it means
Same payment instrument	Shared payment traits strongly suggest account linkage.
Exact full address	Complete address match across orders.
House/street/postcode	Strong partial address overlap even with formatting differences.
Same phone number	Matching contact number between orders.
Address/contact overlap	Combined weaker indicators that raise confidence when stacked.

Warning

Match scores are indicators, not confirmation. Verify identity before clinical actions.

Firm and Fuzzy sections appear only when fuzzy matching is enabled in order settings.

Tip

This feature is especially useful for clinical workflows where broader order history can affect decisions.
