Prescription orders
If your business dispenses prescription-only medications, Priorly can generate and attach a signed prescription to each qualifying order for a full audit trail.
Requirements
Three things must be in place before Priorly can generate prescriptions on orders.
At least one staff member must be verified as a prescriber in account settings, including registration details.
The product must be marked as requiring a prescription so relevant orders enter the prescription workflow.
The prescriptions feature must be enabled on your Priorly business account.
How prescription orders work
Prescription orders follow the task-based workflow and are authorised at finalisation by a verified prescriber PIN.
Payment is captured but held until final clinical approval.
The order remains under review while submissions are pending.
Team members approve each task in the review queue. See Task-based orders.
A verified prescriber confirms finalisation and chooses fulfilment method.
A unique prescription ID is created, attached to the order, and payment is claimed.
Viewing a prescription
Generated prescriptions appear on the order detail page in the Prescriptions section.
Select View to open the full prescription modal with patient, item, and prescriber details.
