Orders overview

The Orders section is your central hub for managing every purchase made through your Priorly store, from simple product sales to clinic workflows that include tasks, forms, and prescriptions.

The orders list

Navigate to Orders in your left-hand sidebar to reach the orders list. Each row represents a single order and shows key details at a glance.

Columns explained

Order
The unique order number. Click it to open the full order detail page.
Date
The date and time the order was placed.
Status
The current fulfilment status of the order. See Understanding order statuses for the full list.
Customer
The customer name, or patient name for clinic-type businesses.
Total
The total amount charged including shipping, minus any discounts.
Items
The number of line items in the order.
Delivery Type
The shipping method chosen at checkout.
Third Party
If fulfilled by a third-party partner, their name appears here.
Shipping
The tracking status once a shipping label has been created.
Tasks
Shows a pending badge if the order has incomplete staff tasks.

The attention banner

When one or more orders have incomplete staff tasks, a banner appears at the top of the orders list showing how many orders need action.

Info
The attention banner only appears when you have orders with pending staff tasks. It won't show for standard unfulfilled orders that don't have tasks attached.

Selecting Start reviewing opens a guided queue that walks you through flagged orders one at a time. See Reviewing tasks for details.

Filtering orders

Use the filter tabs below search to narrow the list by status. You can also search by order number or customer email.

Require Action
Orders with pending staff tasks that must be completed or reviewed before fulfilment.
On Hold
Orders manually paused, usually while awaiting customer information.
Unfulfilled
Orders paid but not yet shipped or fulfilled.
Fulfilled
Orders fully shipped or handed over.
Third Party
Orders currently handled by a third-party fulfilment partner.
Awaiting Customer
Orders paused because a customer response or action is required.
Partial
Orders where some items are fulfilled and others are still pending.
Returned
Orders where items have been returned by the customer.

The order detail page

Select any order number to open the order detail page. This is where you manage fulfilment, review tasks, and view linked prescriptions for a specific order.

Sections on the order detail page

Items
Products in the order with quantities, pricing, and fulfilment status. Use Fulfil items to mark shipped.
Paid
Breakdown of subtotal, shipping, discounts, and tax.
Form Submission
Forms completed by the customer, such as questionnaires or consent forms.
Staff Tasks
Shown when tasks exist. Lists required staff actions before fulfilment can proceed. See Task-based orders.
Prescriptions
Shown when prescriptions are enabled. Links associated prescriptions. See Prescription orders.
Timeline
Chronological log of activity and actions on the order.

The right sidebar

The right panel displays customer or patient details, shipping address, carrier details, and quick actions. The label updates automatically based on your business type.

💡 Tip: Use Find related orders to quickly pull up other orders from the same customer.

Top-level actions

The top-right action buttons in the order detail page provide quick access to common order-level actions.

Refund
Issue a full or partial refund. See Cancelling and refunding.
Print
Print a packing slip or order summary. See Printing orders.
Generate
Generate related documents such as labels or invoices.
Options
Access additional actions such as notes, export, and hold controls.
